We're cooking up some super FUN, and deliciously tasty Summer Camps!
Sprouts Cooking is always active with opportunities for sprouting chefs to break into the culinary scene. Sprouts Cooking’s hands-on and deliciously FUN cooking camps and special events are designed for young foodies, curious cooks, and kitchen newcomers, while emphasizing the importance of nutrition and whole foods. Young chefs expand their palates, reinforce academic and social skills, and learn about food safety, knife skills, and experimenting with natural flavors and ingredients. 
Our camps are packed with culinary excitement and tasty adventures - and are open to kids ages 5-12!

Half-day Sessions: $155/camper/week

JUNE 5-9, 9am-12pmCOOKING AROUND THE WORLD: AMAZING ASIAN

Get ready to explore different Asian cuisines as we cruise through China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and India. Students will learn a variety of cooking techniques like steaming, sautéing, chopping, and rolling, as they prepare and then sample dishes like Pad Thai, Summer sushi rolls, Potato curry, Samosas, and more! Students will be introduced to a number of different flavors this week too, like cilantro, tamarind, turmeric, ginger, and more. Get your taste buds ready for this truly tasty adventure through Asia!

JUNE 12-16, 9am-12pm: SNACK ATTACK
This week students will push the limits on the snack concept and prepare a variety of wholesome, delicious, and unique nibbles, both savory AND sweet! Sprouting chefs will prepare a variety of bite-sized munchies like homemade granola bars, brownies, veggie nachos, roasted red pepper hummus with homemade pita chips, zucchini tots, and much, much more!


JUNE 19-23, 9am-12pm: COOKING AROUND THE WORLD:
MOLTO ITALIANO!
Students will learn different regional specialties of Italy, a country that is incredibly diverse in terrain and food culture. Go beyond pasta and explore delicacies like eggplant parmesan, Caprese salad, tiramisu, and much, much more! Find out what makes Italian food so popular worldwide.

JUNE 26-30, 9am-12pm: MAKE EVERY DAY A HOLIDAY!
Celebrate all the holidays of the year…in one week! This camp will focus on holiday- themed recipes that span the whole year of holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Cinco de Mayo, and others! 

JULY 10-14, 9am-12pm: COOKING AROUND THE WORLD: MEDITERRANEAN MADNESS
Join us for a culinary trip to the Mediterranean to explore a variety of delicious dishes influenced by the cuisines of Spain, France, and Greece. Our chef instructors will teach sprouting chefs techniques for preparing both savory and sweet menus bursting with bright, bold flavors, including French paté, Greek falafel, Turkish Apricot salad, Spanish Paella, and much, much more…

JULY 17-21, 9am-12pm: GOING “DOUGH”NUTS!
This week’s camp focuses on all kinds of delicious ways you can use…DOUGH! Calzones, pretzels, pies, breads, donuts, doughy desserts…you name it! We’ll create it!

JULY 24-28, 9am-12pm:
COOKING AROUND THE WORLD: LATIN FIESTA
(Latin American, Mexican and Southwestern foods are among the most popular cuisines in America. In this summer camp, sprouting chefs will learn to make some favorite Latin cuisines like salsas, guacamole, tortillas, tortilla chips, enchiladas, quesadillas, empanadas, rice pudding, churros and chocolate, and the list goes on and on and on!

ULY 31-AUG 4, 9am-12pm: BREAKFAST FOR DINNER!
Turn your favorite breakfast dishes into the main event as dinner options. How about a cheddar-chive frittata with fresh salsa? Brunch pasta with bacon and eggs! Maybe you’d prefer a more traditional French toast, dressed up with bananas and blueberries? Any way you slice it, your young chef will love tucking into these comforting breakfast classics.
 
 

Full-Day Sessions: $300/camper/week
 
JUNE 26-30, 9am-4pm: RESTAURANT CAMP
This week sprouting chefs will get to design a restaurant and immerse themselves in every step of the process. They will customize their own restaurant name, theme, menu, and work together to design and run a team restaurant and create TV commercial “skits.” Campers will get to adjust recipes and food styling to match cuisines. Throughout the week they will also prepare delicious recipes and safely earn kitchen fundamentals, palate development, and culinary techniques. At the end of the week each camper can invite a guest to come and eat at “their restaurant!” Camp open to girls in grades 5th-8th.

JULY 24-28, 9am-4pm: BITES! CAMERA! ACTION!
Calling all foodies and sprouting chefs!  Have you ever wanted to be on a cooking show?  Master Chef Jr, Iron Chef Jr, Cupcake Wars, etc.? Well, team up with Sprouts Cooking this Summer for our super-fun version of TV's best foodie shows, with cooking games, activities, and challenges!  We'll also be cooking favorite recipes from famous TV chefs! Camp open to girls in grades 5th-8th.

June 26-30: CHEF’S CHALLENGE CAMP
Time to get creative in the kitchen! Join us as we battle it out like they do in the Iron Chef’s Kitchen Stadium. With a new secret ingredient each day to guess, taste, prepare and enjoy, we’ll be whipping up recipes galore. And the secret ingredient is… Shhh, we don’t want to ruin the surprise! All camps feature both savory and sweet recipes, from globally-inspired dishes, to close-to-home delights! Let’s get cooking!

July 10-14: SUMMER MYSTERY BASKET CAMP
Cooking Shows have nothing on Sprouts Cooking’s tasty cooking extravaganzas. Join us as we cook our way through mystery baskets and surprise ingredients to prepare starters, main courses, and desserts while staying cool in the kitchen! All camps feature both savory and sweet recipes, from globally-inspired dishes, to close-to-home delights! Have some yummy fun as you create something truly amazing.
